A. Black Rocket
B. Back On Trip (LXC Rmx)
Format- 12” Vinyl
Offshore is back for 2008! The first Sileni track on Offshore since “Twitchy Droid Leg” (granted it came out on 4 different instances due to all of the remixes). “Black Rocket” is a banger in the vein of the dirty 98 Bristol-sound that was cherished by folks like Decoder and Tech Itch. A reverberating wood block snare, a big fat distorted bassline and dizzying white noise to fill up any frequency space that was left make this track a tough pill to swallow. Let’s not forget Sileni’s signature edits that riddle “Black Rocket”, words really don’t do it justice.
Flip it over for some German minimal funk from Alphacut’s front man, LXC. Originally released on the Plain Audio digital imprint, “Back On Trip” gets reworked into a bouncy, quirky little number that offers a completely different take on the current state of Drum & Bass. The remix is steppy, but at the same time it hits hard and holds the listeners interest with edits and an array of sounds all meticulously engineered. LXC not only runs Alphacut and produces, but he is also a cutting engineer, so you know it sounds good.
Forthcoming from Offshore:

• OSR021 Martsman “Klikoucha” / “Disharmonic Anti-Anthem”

We had a few of the 006 and 007 T Shirts laying around and decided to add them to the site.
We are still trying to resolve our shipping charge issue. Our current workaround is that the flat rate shipping is $9 and you will be credited $4 for shipping if you live in the US. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Welcome to the new site for Offshore Recordings. We have changed the format and presentation a little bit, so the site is more active and also contains a shop to grab Offshore goodies!
We have some exclusives, like OSR001 and a NEW Offshore T-Shirt, along with some other items all at great prices. We kept the shirt colors really simple for those of you who have complained in the past about the shirt colors being as radical as the beats.
Don’t waste any more time, go buy some stuff and have a look around! Stay tuned for updates, exclusive MP3s and mixes all through the new site.
FREE stickers with every order!
